By combining athletes with financial and industry experts, APEX gained early access to transformative deals and exclusive networks.
In 2020, we tested two hypotheses: would athletes embrace the role of active investors? And would the market welcome them? The answer was a clear yes.
Within our first year, we had over 60 athletes on board and 12 portfolio companies—including our flagship investment in TGL, the tech-driven golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Today, APEX runs strategies across venture, growth, and private equity—backing bold ideas from early-stage startups to established sports properties.
